We want all our customers to be happy with their purchase, so we ask that you make sure you are confident in selecting the right product(s) before you confirm your order, i.e. measure the space that the product will be placed in, etc… if you have any questions please feel free to call us on 0800 158 48 42 to check anything you might like to know.
Easy Sleep Company Ltd retains the right to refuse any order that is subject to an error on its website and will in these circumstances reimburse the Buyer in full.
Full payment is required at the time the order is placed and Easy Sleep Company Ltd will collect the payment from the debit/credit card details supplied. All Prices and charges on this site are in U.K. pounds and include any V.A.T payable at the prevailing rate.
When payment for your order has been confirmed you will be sent an order acknowledgement by email. The acknowledgement will give you full details of the product(s) you have purchased, delivery address, and financial details of the transaction. Please take time to carefully check your order confirmation. If you do not receive an acknowledgement or if you find any errors please phone or e-mail us immediately.
Delivery of your product(s)
Delivery is carried out by experienced delivery drivers. The delivery time scales stated on the web site are approximate only and The Easy Sleep Company Ltd will not be liable for any loss suffered by you arising from any delay in the delivery of the product(s). Reasons for delay or non-delivery could be and not limited to: holiday periods i.e. Christmas, Easter; the delivery area is in an area of inaccessibility; or in any other causes whatsoever beyond our control. If you fail to take delivery of the product(s) whenever they are tendered for delivery, then we reserve the right to recover transportation costs.
Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure access is sufficient to receive the product(s) of your choice. We recommend that you measure the space in which the products are to be placed, especially if goods are for upstairs rooms. If we have to abort delivery due to insufficient access the customer will be liable to pay the direct cost of delivery.
Cancellation of order – Pre Delivery
If you wish to cancel your order before delivery has taken place you must notify us by letter or email. If the product(s) has not been dispatched we will cancel the order and full payment will be refunded. If the products(s) has been dispatched and we are unable to prevent the delivery you should refuse to sign for the goods and they will be returned to us and the cost of your order refunded.
Up to 7 days following the day of delivery
Under the distance selling regulations you have 7 days to cancel your order starting the day after the date of delivery. You must cancel your order by letter or email. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to the address above and you must take good care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. Goods must be returned within 28 days of notification. If you do not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged whilst in your possession or in transit we will not be able to accept the goods. When you return your goods please return in an as new and saleable condition complete with all packaging and accessories supplied. If an item is returned undamaged in its original and undamaged packaging, we will offer you a refund
Please note that your right to return an item does not apply to certain items unless these items are faulty. Such items include:
- Items which cannot be resold for health and hygiene reasons once unwrapped (for example mattresses, bedding, pillows, etc.);
- Flat pack furniture that has been partially or fully assembled
Special Order Custom Made Products
Products that have been specially ordered (custom made) for you cannot be cancelled once your order is confirmed. Please take time to carefully check your order confirmation email and report any errors by e-mail within 24 hours of receipt.
Return of damaged / faulty items
When your goods are delivered please check that the order is complete and not damaged. In the event that your order is visibly damaged, do not accept the order and enter on the delivery note “Damaged” along with a brief description of how or where the item is damaged.
If you have accepted the Goods and subsequently discover that they are faulty /parts are missing, you must notify us in writing by letter or email. You will be entitled to a replacement or repair. Where a replacement/repair is not possible e.g. because the product/parts no longer exist then a refund will be offered. In this case do not use the Goods and inform us as soon as possible following the date of receipt describing the problem in as much detail as possible. Please retain all original packaging.
Refunds
Once we have been notified of the cancelling of the contract, we will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid or debited from your credit card for the products. This refund will be subject to a 3.5% surcharge, the cost of the credit/debit card transaction charged to us by our payment processor. This charge has been built into the price of the products.
Product Descriptions / Images
There may be certain items included in the illustration of a product which are not part of the product and are not included in the product description and are not part of the order, unless stated (for example, bedside tables, lamps, Headboards, bedcovers).
Goods are supplied on the understanding that there may be slight variances in colour, finish, shade and grain. Materials may have minor technical differences and their appearance may differ slightly from the goods shown. Any changes will be of an equal or higher standard to those displayed and will not materially affect the products quality or performance.
Measurements provided on the website are for guide purposes only and may not be taken as exact. All products supplied are subject to a tolerance of + - 3%.
Guarantees
All Goods are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery. The manufacturer(s) of your particular product(s) may offer a guarantee(s) of various periods on the product(s) from the date of delivery of the product(s). Please note that the terms of any manufacturer's guarantee shall be attached to your product(s) on delivery and is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Any complaints made by you in the first year should be made initially by e-mail to us, quoting your order reference number and outlining the nature of your complaint. We shall then liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf and keep you fully informed of how the matter is progressing.
